The distance between Pattaya and Koh Chang is approximately 350 km, and the total travel time is about 5.5 hours, depending on traffic and ferry queue. Ferries from Ao Thammachat and Center Point piers run daily until 19:00, so we recommend departing Pattaya no later than 14:00 to comfortably catch the last boat. For return trips, the latest departure from Koh Chang should be by 18:00 to ensure ferry availability.
